Why you should use XNA

January 22nd, 2008 by andy

Some chap called Doolwind has written a nice “Why you should use XNA” handy guide for all you folks still trapped in boring old DirectX land (that’s like, soooo 2006).

It’s all most interesting and there’s even a couple of links in there to get you going.

An alternative way to get a list of reasons “why you should use XNA”, is to simply start a thread in the forums on how much you hate XNA - that’ll annoy the hell out of Chris and you’ll probably end up with a response of biblical proportions about how amazing it is, featuring lots of unhappy smileys for your lack of faith.

He missed out "XNA makey looky pretty easy", which for me is a massive plus.

All that other stuff with the complicated letters and numbers I didn’t get, but XNA sure makes it easy to make things pretty.

I see, next time I see a discussion outside of this forum, I will send people to this blog post in this forum. Because I can’t remember all that or better yet I will send them to talk to Chris.
