Ladies and gentlemen!

This is the voting thread.

RULES
  • Only members who have registered more than 2 weeks ago and have 6 posts at least can vote. All member who took part in the competition can vote, regardless of the time of registry, or the number of votes!
  • The voting is anonymous. You will need to PM Nikolas with your votes! You should not mention who you voted during the voting period, however you are free to comment on pretty much anything, as long as you keep it civilised (which I know you will, won't you?)
  • In your PM, I would appreciate it (not necessarily though), if you could include the number of the entry(s) which you will vote for as well as your own entry, along with it's number, so I can cound your vote in.
  • Each voter can vote 2 entries! This is because you may have trouble limiting your choice into 1 entry. You can, however vote only one if you wish.
  • You cannot vote for your own entry. (yes it goes without saying, but let's be absolutely certain)
  • You cannot bring your buddies to vote for you. We will know!
  • Each entrant who votes will automatically receive a single vote for their own entry. To explain this: those who won't vote, will have 1 less vote than those who will. Some initiative to get you voting, huh?
  • The CGEmpire team, mods, owners and admins reserve the right to disqualify any entry (which's never happened yet) and cancel any votes to any entry, for any reason (which shall be explained of course).
  • Finally, the voting period will last almost a week. Commencing now (Wedsnday 07:00 London time) and finishing Wedsnday 26thth of November, 08:59, London time.

THE ENTRIES

Two ways, as always, to download the entries.

1. Go and grab a 38 MB big zipped folder with all the entries inside:

I just have some chores to take care of and then I'll have my votes in within a few hours. I've listened to these babies enough, and it's only getting harder to choose so I may as well take the plunge while I still can! :P

EDIT: ...GAH. Two votes is killer. Some of them had great production values but didn't really "stick" with me, others were more modest but extremely charismatic. May the best man win. And I'm extremely curious to see who it turns out to be because it's a tight one this time around.

Best of luck, folks!

Ok, I've finally had some time to note down the votes, as they stand NOW! These are not the final results, just a teaser!

11 members have voted, 4 of whom are not entering the competition! (So 7 entrants have voted so far and 10 have NOT! )

1 entry has 4 votes, and the entrant has voted.
2 entries have 3 votes and both the entrants have also voted.
4 entries have 2 votes, some of which have gotten the self entry, others not.

The rest of the entries have either one or no entries.

From the standpoint as a listener I would say that was no easy decision.

I would tend to say one of the two tracks I voted for fits better a romantic movie style than music for a kids game. But its developement, climax and overall quality sounds too good to be overlooked even if I had to see it through children's eyes (read: hear it through children's ears ). I simply love that track and have to know who had done it, will we know who are the composers for the whole bunch of tracks?

That said my 2nd choice was even harder to do, cos I could have voted for 5, 6 or more tracks - they are all excellent, believe me I've listened to them back and forth. ...Well done guys, you are great musicians!

Last but not least, many thanks to Nikolas for all the effort he put in those competitions.
